Alexis Muilenburg is a ceramicist based in Chattanooga, Tennessee where she lives with her husband Cameron and new daughter, Loma Glory. Esse Made is ceramic dinnerware hand formed with regional earthenware clay in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains.
In her small batch studio, Alexis creates each piece uniquely purposeful and made for day-to-day life. Inspired by Impressionism, coastal scenes and vintage kitchenware, Alexis pursues bringing to light the essence of beauty and whimsy found in the ordinary rituals of life.
